1 October Sunday is a nice sunny day.  A number of Clubs joined together to participate in the Walk to End Alzheimer’s.  The Rotary Club of Blooming Rose and the Rotary Club of Promise are walking together, while the Rotary Club of Hope, Rotary Club of Sunshine and a few other Clubs will be walking in Central Park on Sunday, 15 October.

The Clubs are jointly raising funds on behalf of D7230 to send to the Walk to End Alzheimer’s.  They are all new Clubs and have demonstrated dedication and energy to the causes that Rotary and its members care for.

The Clubs were out in full force with their Club banners to draw attention to the participation of Rotary in support of the Walk to End Alzheimer’s.

The Charter President of our newest Club the Rotary Club of Blooming Rose has also donated $1,000 to The Rotary Foundation to earn her Paul Harris +1 recognition.

Meanwhile, our Sunshine Club's Past President, Aziz Ahmad has been recognized by the Club with a Paul Harris Fellow recognition in honor of his contribution to the Club’s District Grant project.
