The Rotary E-Club of Sunshine, NY, has responded to an urgent appeal to assist those affected by the catastrophic floods in South Central Texas. Entire communities—particularly in and around Kerrville—have been devastated, with lives upended, homes destroyed, and families in desperate need of support.
In true Rotary spirit, we are joining forces with Rotary District 5840 in Texas, where local Rotarians are already hard at work on the ground, delivering essential aid and coordinating long-term recovery efforts. Their 501(c)(3) Foundation is actively collecting tax-deductible donations to fund food, shelter, clothing, clean-up efforts, and ongoing rebuilding in the hardest-hit areas.
Rotary International has a long-standing track record of effective disaster response. From hurricane recovery to earthquake relief, Rotarians have consistently shown that when we unite our resources and commitment, we create meaningful, lasting impact. Our networks, both local and global, allow us to deliver timely help where it's needed most—mobilizing volunteers, raising funds, and rebuilding lives.
