PAST PRESIDENT AZIZ AHMAD

Aziz Ahmad led the Club as its second President during the Rotary Year 2022-23.   During his term, the Club participated in the Rotary Day of Service and undertook a project.

Aziz is passionate about using technology as a force for good, to better the human experience and to create opportunities. He believes technology can change lives.

As the Chief Executive Officer of UTC Associates, a technology consulting firm founded to provide unmatched value in technology services, He  feels privileged to have the opportunity to create positive change in the world.

It is in his DNA to build relationships, serve society, and collaborate to help people grow. He has had the opportunity to do that with CodersTrust, for which he is a co-founder and chairman. This project aims to educate and create global digital jobs for marginalized groups to increase their economic independence.

He is honored to have had opportunities to share his technology expertise worldwide. He presented at the Vatican conference “The Common Good in the Digital Age,” sponsored by Pope Francis, about the future of work. He discussed policy frameworks for meaningful usage of artificial intelligence at the European Parliament in Belgium. He also spoke at the Central American Conference Eureka in Guatemala about economic empowerment through technological advancement in under-served areas, and he has appeared on several panels at the Davos World Economic Forum.

Aziz began his career in engineering with Bankers Trust Company and later moved on to AT&T, where he served as a senior manager and lead architect for the next-generation internet (NGI) that became the 21st Century networks we use today. He also served as AT&T’s lead within a consortium created to develop and integrate NGI architecture.

He is a proponent of digital access for all, and he is committed to providing technology to businesses and individuals across the globe. He brings together industry leaders to explore Zero Trust models, AI-powered defenses, and the urgent need for generational awareness and policy reform so our society can be future-proof.
